Mare milk is similar to human breast milk

Mare milk is an animal product similar to human breast milk. It possesses high levels of lactose as well as low levels of lipids and nitrogen. The INRA and pediatricians thus recommended it in the 1990s to replace breast milk, although more recent publications advise against animal milks for infants.
