Gandhi completely stopped reading newspapers for more than three years

Gandhi is an Indian historical figure known for his fight for independence. At the age of 37, he refused to read newspapers for three and a half years. He considered that the agitation of the outside world amplified his inner disorder and thus preferred to isolate himself from all news.
