La Revue parisienne was written entirely by Balzac

La Revue parisienne is a short-lived publication written almost entirely by Honoré de Balzac. In 1840, Armand Dutacq offered to finance this monthly magazine to help him compete with other serial writers. During three issues, the writer published fierce literary critiques and a rare tribute to Stendhal, before ending the experiment on September 25, 1840.
