The survival of an ancient consonant in Gallo

The Germanic h is a consonant whose pronunciation disappeared starting from the 13th century in Gallo. This phonetic peculiarity nevertheless persists in a small region named the Mené. This area is located around the localities of Merdrignac and Plémet.
