The blackmouth catshark hunts in groups

The blackmouth catshark is a small shark that sometimes hunts its prey in groups. Examination of the stomach contents of certain individuals revealed the presence of animals impossible to capture alone. This collective strategy allows this generalist predator to attack prey of an unusual size for a single shark.
