A galette-saucisse defense association engages in politics

The association for the preservation of the Breton galette-saucisse is a whimsical structure founded in 1994 by two supporters of the Stade rennais. It uses media and political actions to impose its ten commandments on merchants and promote this local specialty. Its candidacy in the 1997 legislative elections in the Fougères constituency notably gathered 2 % of the votes.
