Fifteen layers of paint for the Maison Gabrielle-Roy

The Maison Gabrielle-Roy underwent a major restoration to return to its 1918 appearance. The provincial government's historical services conducted an in-depth study to identify the original color beneath the fifteen layers of paint accumulated over time. This titanic project carried out from 1997 to 2003 cost 650,000 Canadian dollars.
