The first discovery of a Wallace's Rail nest

The Wallace's Rail is a bird whose reproduction remained ignored by scientists for a long time. In November 2010, a first nest was finally discovered in the Aketajawe-Lolobata National Park. The two chicks found on site displayed surprising characteristics, such as white and pink claws at the tips of their wings.
