The Danube performs a spectacular 180-degree turn

The Schlögen Loop is a spectacular meander where the Danube makes a complete 180-degree turn. This remarkable geographical phenomenon is located in Austrian territory, a little more than 70 kilometers after the border with Germany. The river runs along the landscapes of the region there before crossing the city of Linz.
