The confluence of three rivers of different colors in Passau

In Passau, the Danube brings together three watercourses with distinct hues: the Danube is blue, the Ilz is black, and the Inn is green. This green color dominates after the meeting due to the large quantity of water carried by melting snow. The water of the Inn thus floats above the Danube thanks to a powerful flow and a depth measured at 1.90 meters against 6.80 meters for its receiver.
