The Octavarium album cover hides musical symbols

The Octavarium album displays on its cover a giant Newton's cradle designed by the artist Hugh Syme. This setting symbolizes the relationship between musical actions through carefully counted visual elements. The booklet thus presents eight grey balls and five dark birds which represent respectively the white and black keys of a piano.
