The majority of OQTF issued in 2022 were without a departure period

An obligation to leave French territory can be issued without a voluntary departure period, a measure known as a dry OQTF. This decision is notably taken in the event of a risk of absconding or a threat to public order. In 2022, it thus represented approximately 60% of the OQTF issued.
