A French territory receives 4G from Canada

The Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon archipelago benefits from surprising mobile coverage due to its geographical proximity to Canada. Since 2016, two thirds of the commune of Saint-Pierre thus enjoy 4G LTE on the 700 MHz bands. This service is provided by the Canadian operator Bell thanks to cell towers installed in Newfoundland.
