The creation of the Jenotdel in Moscow in 1918

The Jenotdel is an organization resulting from an all-Russian national conference gathering more than a thousand delegates in Moscow in November 1918. Lenin personally supports this initiative led by Inès Armand and Alexandra Kollontaï to mobilize women in the party's agitation and propaganda groups. This dynamic leads to its official establishment in September 1919 by a decision of the central committee of the RCP(b).
