A twentieth place in the rally without any experience

Patrick Tambay took the twentieth place of the Monte Carlo Rally in 1973. He was then driving a Renault 12 Gordini alongside Gérard Marion, without possessing the slightest experience of car rallies. He declared himself very lucky to have reached the finish line facing the blizzard, the night and the mechanical breakdowns.
