Horatio Nelson survives in an alternate history

Horatio Nelson is a British admiral who has inspired many authors throughout the centuries. In the Temeraire series of novels by Naomi Novik, published between 2006 and 2016, he enjoys an alternative literary destiny. The books of this alternate history series indeed recount that he survives the Battle of Trafalgar and is made a duke.
