Horatio Nelson is a British admiral known for his major naval victories. In February 1800, he captured the ship Le Généreux after a short battle but disobeyed the orders of his superior George Keith Elphinstone. This insubordinate behavior, combined with his unauthorized returns to Palermo for poor health, led London to suggest that he return to England.
