A giant rose garden is hidden in Nantes

The Beaujoire floral park houses an immense horticultural collection dedicated to the rose. Created during the 1971 Floralies, the site devotes thirty-one spaces to the exhibition of 25000 rose bushes divided into 1500 species. It also possesses one of the largest monumental fountains in Europe.
