AlphaFold uses 128 processors to predict protein shapes

AlphaFold is an artificial intelligence software based on deep learning to predict protein structure. The algorithm was trained on approximately 170,000 known structures thanks to a fleet of 128 machine learning processors. This technology thus makes it possible to accelerate research to design drugs or synthesize enzymes capable of degrading plastic waste.
