Girl with a Pearl Earring has changed its name

Girl with a Pearl Earring is a painting representing an adolescent on a uniform black background. The work was first designated under the name Girl with a Turban because of the exotic attribute of ultramarine and yellow color that covers her head. It finally took its current name in reference to the shiny earring on her left lobe.
