Modified processors for 2008 iMacs

The second version of the aluminum iMacs featured Intel Core 2 Duo processors whose original frequencies had been modified by the manufacturer. The E8135 and E8335 models were thus underclocked, while the E8235 model operated overclocked at 2.8 GHz instead of 2.60 GHz. These components, initially intended for the Centrino Monte Vina platform, were finally integrated into a Centrino Santa Rosa platform.
