The spork is a software fork born from human tensions

The spork is a software branch created following relational disagreements with a package maintainer. This scenario occurs when a manager arbitrarily refuses to integrate valid corrections into the source code. The maintenance effort is then pooled downstream, like the eglibc project used by Debian since 2009.
