Complete trucks are transported by train

Piggyback transport is a combined transport mode consisting of loading complete trucks onto a train with the tractor, the trailer and the driver. This technique differs from unaccompanied container transport and also includes car-trains. This mode of transport finds a particularly marked application in Switzerland.
