One in five European voters wants to vote abroad

The EU Profiler voting aid system allows citizens to compare their opinions with parties outside their national borders. A study conducted using its data by Bright and his colleagues showed that a large majority feels close to a party from another country. Twenty percent of respondents were thus encouraged to demand the right to vote for a foreign political party during European Parliament elections.
