Ten European governments tracked mobile phones anonymously

Ten European governments exploited anonymous location data provided by telephone operators during the health crisis. This practice occurred without the prior consent of users thanks to a legal technique for data sharing anonymization. The countries concerned by this method include Belgium, Austria, Estonia, France, Germany, Latvia, Greece, Portugal, Italy and Spain.
