A first American newspaper banned after a single issue

Publick Occurrences Both Forreign and Domestick is the first multi-page newspaper in the British colonies of America. It was published on September 25, 1690 in Boston by the printer Benjamin Harris. This single issue appeared under the inquisitive gaze of the colonial authorities, who decided to suppress it immediately.
