The absurd death of Emperor Chaos

Emperor Chaos is a character from the Zhuangzi who dies after receiving seven openings on his body. His hosts, the emperors Illico and Presto, wanted to thank him for his hospitality by making him similar to ordinary men who possess orifices to see, hear, eat, and breathe. Each day the two benefactors pierced an orifice for him, which led to the death of Chaos at the end of the seventh day.
