A photographer uses electric lighting as early as 1880

Léonard Hubert Zeyen is a Belgian photographer who equips his studio with a Gramme machine in 1880. This device provides him with a strong electric light to free himself from natural light and reduce his exposure times. He thus becomes the very first to introduce this innovative system in the city of Liège.
