Women are leaving the technology industry at an alarming rate

Women are leaving the technology industry twice as fast as men according to an essay published in The Atlantic magazine. This sector remains very largely dominated by the male gender since women represent only 25 percent of the total workforce in this industry. The situation is even more pronounced among senior executives, where the proportion of women falls to 11 percent according to estimates.
