A fibrosis becomes a fibroma beyond 9 cm

Fibrosis is a pathological phenomenon that occurs after tissue destruction or inflammation. When the lesions are major and the tissues do not regenerate, scarring becomes the only outcome. The pathological process takes the name of fibroma when the size of the lesion exceeds 9 cm.
