An astronomy treatise written entirely in poems

Al Akhdari is a scholar from Biskra who lived from 1512 to 1585. He wrote the treatise entitled Nazm al-Siraj fi 'Ilm al-Falak, which addresses astronomy and mathematics in the form of poetic verses. His works thus served as reference books on the subject until the 20th century.
