A reverend is freed from desire after spying on his neighbor

Reverend Curtis Hartman is an austere pastor whose destiny shifts when he glimpses his neighbor Kate Swift through the window of his bell tower. Having become obsessed with this vision, he watches her every move until a night in January when he discovers her naked while praying. This unexpected scene provokes such an illumination in him that he immediately proclaims that she is the instrument of God.
