The average color of the universe is called cosmic latte

Cosmic latte is the average color of the universe calculated by researchers. This name was chosen following a vote by astronomers despite an initial joke forbidding beige shade proposals. The name was preferred over cappuccino cosmico in tribute to the mother tongue of Galileo and the designation of the Milky Way.
