An Azeri horse at Windsor Castle

The Karabakh is an indigenous horse breed from Azerbaijan whose numbers remain strictly monitored and localized. The private stud farm of investment banker Mahmud Mammadov, named Gunay Atchilig and founded in 1998, has notably contributed to the prominence of these animals. One of its most prestigious stallions, named Golden Boy II, thus participated in an equestrian show organized in 2012 at Windsor Castle.
