Disney owns its own banks and a nature reserve

The Walt Disney Company owns its own cooperative banking institutions for its employees, resulting from the 2007 merger of the Partners Federal Credit Union and Vista Federal Credit Union structures. The multinational corporation also manages a nature reserve of more than 45 km2 in Florida named the Disney Wilderness Preserve. It furthermore created in 1989 a subsidiary dedicated to lobbying to oversee its political interests.
