Indira Gandhi wrote a poem about the book Walden

Walden or Life in the Woods is perceived by several commentators as a work of wisdom close to Hindu and Vedic spirituality. This oriental dimension was notably praised by Mahatma Gandhi as well as by Indira Gandhi, who wrote a short poem to celebrate it.
