Roger Jensen is the first storm chaser

Roger Jensen is the first recognized storm chaser in history. Originally from Fargo in North Dakota, he began tracking storms as early as 1951 in the Lake Park area, in Minnesota. His observations helped provide valuable information to meteorology researchers before the movement developed on a large scale.
