The snow leopard is threatened by the anger of breeders

The snow leopard is a feline whose presence is perceived very negatively by local Nepalese populations. In the Annapurna Conservation Area, inhabitants live below the poverty line with vulnerable herds that the predator sometimes decimates in a single night. A study thus shows that 52 percent of the villagers interviewed in this area wish for the total extermination of the species.
