The snow leopard climbs to nearly 6,000 meters in altitude

The snow leopard is a large feline capable of venturing into extremely high areas. In summer, this animal frequents rocky regions whose peaks reach the nival stage, between 5,488 and 6,097 meters. This mountain aptitude was confirmed by the discovery of footprints left at 5,792 m of altitude by mountaineers.
