The Gaia mission has cataloged more than 1.5 billion stars

Gaia is an optical space telescope designed for stellar observation. This space mission allows for the cataloging of billions of celestial bodies thanks to the study of their dynamics and composition. It has thus made it possible to list more than 1.5 billion stars.
