Earth is a reserved domain according to cosmic apartheid

Cosmic apartheid is a hypothesis proposed in 1987 by Martyn J. Fogg to address the Fermi paradox. It suggests that the Galaxy is governed by a balance of power where our planet is placed under the guardianship of a civilization belonging to a galactic club. Humanity is thus kept away from any contact until it reaches the technological level required to join this community.
