Earth was considered an extraterrestrial neutral zone in 1919

Charles Fort raised the question of the absence of extraterrestrials in 1919 in The Book of the Damned by formulating an original hypothesis. According to this author, humanity belonged to extraterrestrial civilizations that had fought over our planet in the past. An agreement eventually turned Earth into a neutral zone under the control of a galactic power.
