The clouded leopard is poached to replace the tiger

The clouded leopard is a feline victim of intense poaching for the resale of its body parts. Its bones, teeth and claws are used in traditional medicine as a substitute for those of the tiger. In China, these animal parts were even sold openly in the 1990s.
