The clouded leopard calls its cubs by saying mama

The female clouded leopard uses a vocalization reminiscent of the onomatopoeia ma-ma to call her litter. In return, the cubs emit a weaker sound response similar to me-me. These specific vocal exchanges allow the felines to communicate with each other at short range.
