The tragic ending of the original Goldilocks tale

Goldilocks and the Three Bears is a folktale where a little girl curiously enters the isolated house of three anthropomorphic animals. After eating their porridge and falling asleep in the baby bear's bed, she is surprised by the return of the owners of the premises. In the original versions of this story by the Brothers Grimm, the bears wake the intruder to kill her or frighten her and force her to flee.
