A pioneering comic strip course in Brussels

Eddy Paape is one of the very first comic strip teachers in the world, appointed in 1969 at the Institut Saint-Luc in Brussels. Hergé and André Franquin had suggested his name to take charge of this unprecedented section that had to be built from scratch. He taught there until 1976 to students who became famous such as Philippe Berthet, Godi or Plantu.
