A controversial proposal to limit the population

Jean-Marc Jancovici is an essayist who suggested in 2019 to establish an age limit for access to organ transplants in order to regulate Western demographics. He wrongly claimed that such a rule already existed in the United Kingdom. The journalist Cédric Stanghellini pointed out that no country in the world applies such an age limit for transplants.
