The brutal end of the Mirapolis amusement park

Mirapolis is a former French amusement park whose fixed equipment was sold abroad after a brief existence. The majority of its rides joined the German park Spreepark, while the remaining structures were demolished. On September 1, 1995, the giant statue of Gargantua that stood on the site was definitively destroyed by explosives.
