There is only one natural lake in Sardinia

Lake Baratz is the only natural lake in Sardinia. This geographical singularity is explained by the nature of the terrain and the torrential character of the island's rivers, most of which have been equipped with dams. This body of water is located precisely to the north of the municipality of Alghero.
