A naval defeat paid for with lands

Marco Sanudo is a lord who was taken prisoner during a naval clash opposing him to the Empire of Nicaea. His fleet composed of seven ships had to bow before about thirty enemy galleys. He recovered his freedom by returning the region of Smyrna that he had conquered.
